I'm considering the same. Would like to have my entire interior black. Been searching AU Ebay site for trim pieces. I'm gonna find a way to reach out to any Ford Parts store overseas to see what I can make happen. I've been reading a couple threads on here about guys trying to get grab handles...
Only had it for a little over a week. Haven't driven it much, but still smile when I walk into the garage where it's park. Gonna take it from TX to AZ next week. I'm sure I'll be smiling all 900 miles. :)
Haha. Yeah, but this has been going on for a decade now. Look at all the hoods on vehicles now. Silly thing is you hit someone with a truck, they're not rolling over the hood. They'll be getting knocked down and rolled over.
Yeah you hit it on the head. Lots of emotion. Folks just need to wait to see what Ford reveals. Each has their opinion of what they feel would make a better truck. I get that, but you gotta base that on how the reality of the automotive industry works. We can rant and rave all day about what we...
Haha. You guys really think a bulging hood is to accommodate a V6 or because of a V6? You think the V6 has blowers on it? The engine will sit well below the fender line (do to safety as well). The engine bay will be wider, longer and taller if anything to accommodate a V6. Look at every truck...
Point taken. But that's also a safety thing. Hoods are bulgier now to cave in during a pedestrian hit. Suppose to help absorb the impact and cause less bodily damage.
Unfortunately that's most manufacturers now. My VW Touareg diesel was in for almost 6 wks. First 4 wks they didn't have a loaner to provide nor a rental (which is required for them to do so). Had to get a rental out of pocket. Almost 2 of those 4 wks it sat there before they could get to it. Got...
It's gonna be a nice truck. As much as most here like the look/design of the current Ranger, that doesn't fit into Ford USA's branding and marketing scheme. This truck was originally meant for the Asian & Pacific market. Now that they will remake it and it's already here (US), they are gonna...
Yeah. But that's why it called "branding." All manufacturers do it to their vehicles. Trying to keep the same or similar look for their product line. Even though I just bought one, I feel the truck does need an update...total update, not just a refresh like we got in the US. New interior, unique...
Hello all. Just picked up a 2021 Lariat Tremor. First Ford as well. Was fortunate to find exactly what we were looking for on the showroom floor about 3hrs from us. Cactus Grey, Lariat, 501A, Tow Package, Tremor w/Bed Liner and Tint (dealer installed). Searched for a while and as others prob...
