How will air in the lines make me dumber? I just put down my almost $40k and bought a truck expecting it to be good to go. I find on this forum that a lot of Rangers have the same problem as I have, low soft brake pedals. Ford needs to be proactive and get it fixed. How did air get in the system...
What a batch of BS! If you pump the brakes 5 times in 30 seconds you will have a good high hard pedal. I don't have to pump the brakes on any other vehicle I drive. No, I have not had the brakes looked at but I will. If you look at the pictures I sent, you can see the pedal is well below the gas...
Thinks Phil, A long time back I had a shop and did some brake work. Had I ever returned a car or truck to a customer with brakes as poor as my Ranger they would have gotten a full refund and a heartfelt apology. I never had to as I never turned out that kind of work.

Sorry, hard to hold phone light and tape but as any one can see my pedal is almost 2 in lower than gas. The engine was running. straight edge taped flat to the gas pedal. As I said brakes SUCK on my Ranger.

My brake pedal goes down even or just below the gas pedal. If some of you guys think this is OK, I submit that you don't know jack S--- about brakes. I have 3 Fords two 2020s and a 2021. I have owned many new Ford cars and trucks over the years. The pedal feel on this Ranger sucks.

I have had a lot of Fords. The 2020 Ranger has the worst brake peddle feel I have ever had. Very soft even worse is how low the peddle is. Lower than the throttle. Very unsafe as your foot hits the gas as you try to stop. I have tried bedding 3 times but did not help. In the old days you would...
