I've had the midsize for a little over a year and a half and it's money well spent IMO. I keep my recovery gear and tools and the stuff you would just want in a truck in there. With the little storage I had under the back seat taken up by a 10" stealthbox it's even more useful now. The only...
Thank you, I put a decent amount of thought into the design and the shop did a great job of executing on it. Only issue so far is that the rear prox beeps come from the dash speaker now as I'm not using the rear door speakers. As far as the forscan stuff I was wanting to change the output of the...
Started getting intrusive thoughts about building a system a month ago. Now it's a reality! Stock Sync3 to JLFix 82 in the dash using optical output to a JL VX700.5 which powers a 10TW2 stealthbox and 6.5" Focal KX2E components using active crossovers. 32 sq/ft of dampening mat added to the...
I've been plagued with vibration at freeway speeds between 65-80mph since I put new wheels and tires on. Had it roadforce balanced, aligned. Balanced again, was looking into 1 piece driveshafts. Today I pulled each wheel, wire brushed the hub face and installed hub centric rings and extended...
Took my Ranger on a road trip for Christmas and found that when I got over 70mph I have a shimmy of sorts in the body. Enough to shake the passenger headrest. Felt speed dependent and when I got home I noticed that there's some light cupping going on with my right rears. At first I was thinking...
Got the Amazon set in there, looks killer.
They sorta are, there's these adhesive feet with threaded inserts for the bolts underneath. It's kind of a pain in the ass to do since you have to have it totally clean, use adhesive promoter on the paint at 60F+ to get them to stick well.
Anyhoo...
Started out with this on day one from the dealer. 2019 Lariat
My porridge is too hot!
Added Method 316’s (265/70/17x8.5) too much poke and rubs.
My porridge is too cold
2” level, high clearance crash bars and bushwacker flares. No poke, but flares overhang and transition to bumper looks...
Saw that we could use home nightlights to "disable" the auto start/stop. Bought these from Amazon.

Using jewelers tools I took the nightlight apart, removed the lens and cut off most of it with a dremel cutting wheel...
Just put 265/70/17 on Method 316 17/8.5 and got the rubs. Didn't take into account that the wheel offset was so far off the stock 18" wheels. 2" level and new ReadyLift intrusion bars coming next week.
