Just traded my 2019 XLT SuperCrew 4x2 w/ 37k miles for a 2021 Lariat SuperCrew FX4. They gave me $30k for my trade and I paid MSRP of $43,795 for the new one and 1.9% financing.
I tested my locker this weekend on a dirt road and this what I discovered:
Locker stayed locked even after 20 mph when there is a load on the drive line. Ex: During WOT straight line acceleration it stayed locked until I let off at 60 mph.

John Lingenfelter once said horsepower is torque over time. IDK, but I love the power my Ranger has and it will smoke by brother-in-law's Tacoma so that's all that matters to me. LOL
When I turn the traction control off (first push of button), then turn off the Advance Trac (push and hold button), fishtailing and donuts in loose dirt are no problem. I get no interference from the control systems.
Any time I do not want the auto stop to engage, I simply move the shifter to sport mode. In my opinion it's much easier than trying to find the disengage button on the console. Once I am going again, I shift back to Drive.
New member from Texas. Just took delivery of my magnetic 2019 Ranger Crewcab, 2wd XLT, 301A, Tow Pkg & Rear locker on 10/9/19. Other upgrades include a spray in bed liner and a BAKflip MX4 tonneau cover. I am extremely pleased with the performance of my new Ranger.
