HMMMM, I just bought mine in March, I was unaware of any $2,000 incentive to trade.
There was a $1750 "truck month" rebate.....
Was this just some rebate the dealer was giving?
I'd want to verify that myself. Don't see it anywhere on the FORD website.
Would need to be in the VINCENT system, so I'd have the dealer print out an incentive sheet. and that is was actually coming from FORD themselves.
I think the addition of my points were a system glitch. Called AGAIN today. My escalation case was CLOSED, yet my points are not there. They "reopened" the case, and I have to wait ANOTHER 30 days for the system to realize it screwed up.
If you others got your points quickly, you were lucky!
Information provided by the FordPass customer assistance center is inconsistent at best.
Lady raising her voice at me and would not let me get a word in edge wise states 30 BUSINESS days for my points to be rewarded.. She said I "Jumped the Gun" and got an escalation started, and now it will...
I'll just keep calling FORD everyday until they appear. But the 3 people I have spoken with so far do state there is a 30 day waiting period (for a new vehicle purchase).
Its kind of quirky. Its not really a "form" that sends your request to the service center.
Its putting in your selling dealer, selling date, and the last 8 of the Vin #. If a match comes, you are lucky.
i've called, and they assured me my points would be there April 13th. Not there yet.
There is a 30-day waiting period for the 42,000 new vehicle purchase points to appear in your Fordpass account.
Its past my 30 day period, and my points still haven't populated. I've had to call escalations, still waiting.....
So, oil filter wasn't on there Gorilla tight?????
Some other users have turned the driver wheel all the way to the right? Is that necessary?
Looks like a long reach in there, but I haven't tried yet.
I don't quite understand that "compromise". You said you weren't going to give the satisfaction of giving the dealer $3,000 for tires/left, which you calculated to be $1,000....
BUT, you felt ok with the trade-off with the GAP and extended warranty for $3,000. UMMMMMM, those two weren't even...
