Sorry to bring this back to life after all this time, just curious as to how the rivnuts are holding up? Looking to do a shovel/axe mount in my bed and was thinking of doing this exact thing.
My fans still run, but their speed is drastically reduced. Either way, truck is due for an oil change coming up and I'll have the service guys take a look to insure it's working as it should. My dealership has been amazing through my 15+ years of ford cars.
I came from an old ford fusion with absolutely no bells and whistles. So still adjusting to this new world. Thanks for the info! Just seemed weird to me to stop the blowers, but it makes sense. Just still getting use to it.
Bought my ranger when it was much cooler out and usually use the windows when it's hot. While driving around with my wife this weekend we tossed on the a/c and noticed something unusual. When driving at top speeds on the highway the AC runs nice and smooth. However, when we are on city roads and...
After fumbling around with it for a while, I tried the other plates and it was just 2 of them that wouldnt fit. Close enough of a fit that my mallet helped get them in though.
For anyone else installing, a few notes – I had to use a tap to clean my nut-plates. The spray cover of the plates was...
Random question..Did you have any issues with the nut-plate fitting in the step? The opening feels just a little bit too small to accommodate the plates.
Thanks for the information. Do you know what it is called or used for so I can search for the part? Admittedly I'm not as handy as some of you guys on here, still learning.
That's not my truck, just found a image online to use. I have a black truck with a dealer spray in. Regardless of what the hole is called, does anyone know a part number?
The dealer I bought my car from sprayed right over the bottom drain holes of the bed while installing the spray in liner. I tried to cut the liner and pry the covers off and ended up breaking the plastic clips. Does anyone know a part number for the plugs for those holes?

Appreciate the PDF. But you were right, once I got the pieces laid out and looked at available holes in the bed, it all came together. Appreciate the response though!

Can you post pictures of where the extra brackets attach? The instructions that came with mine looked like they were printed on an old shitty printer. Can't make out the pictures at all.
If not, I understand. Thanks!

Damn. I really like the look of those. I was worried they'd be too wide, but I like the slider look and a little bit of bigger step. I think this and the D1s would look great with an offset. Stock they might be too wide, but this sold me. Buying mine next paycheck.
Awesome! Can't wait to see pics. I love the look of the D1 and D6's but was worried about width and no one near my has them in store. Cant wait..thanks!
