Not sure if its cuz I drove a fusion for eight years that had it on the touch screen and that's what I was use to using, but the button for the heated seats seems hard to see with peripheral vision. I feel like I have to take my eyes off the road to look down to turn it on/off.
I have a 21 Ranger Lariat. My Dad has a 19 Ranger Lariat. His has the control for the heated seats on the touch screen as well as the physical button. Anyone know if you can add that to the touch screen on the 21?
I agree, it doesn't take that long. Took me about the same time as you. Did you have issues with the connectors that where in the kit not wanting to click together at the third brake light?
Mine was cast iron, thanks for the reply. You are spot on, it was going to take me more tools, time, knowledge than I felt comfortable with. Found a local shop to get it done for me.
Thanks for the advice everyone! I ended up having a local shop get me sorted. Agree with others that if you don't feel comfortable don't do it! End of the day I have no shame in giving it a go, but just a little above my pay grade.
So im trying to replace my coil overs on my 21 Ranger and am having a hell of a time getting the knuckle loose from the upper arm. Same with the tie rod on the lower. Anyone else have a trick to break them free?
I called a local shop here in CO and was quoted $780 for install and alignment only, no gear.....I think you are getting a fair price. Like most I can do it myself but don't mind paying someone if it saves me some time and I feel its reasonable. In this case I'll do it myself.
