  3. Stage3 kicker KS Series kit issues/gripes

***UPDATE*** Mainly typing this out for others who may find this thread useful and not have the time and troubleshooting tools Im lucky to have ? Issue is not polarity. Used some test leads and miniature alligator clips to try a few different setups and it was noticably worse at any...
  4. Stage3 kicker KS Series kit issues/gripes

Definitely going to try and cross the leads and see if it's a polarity issue. Low volume it sounds fine. A bit tinny but fine. Above 20 volume the bass response doesn't boom but rather "thunks" sort of like a subwoofer clipping
  5. Stage3 kicker KS Series kit issues/gripes

Next off day I'll quickly wire up some alligator clips double ended leads and do a little trouble shooting and see where it gets me.
  6. Stage3 kicker KS Series kit issues/gripes

Still getting the hang of the forum search/navigation. Seems I'm not alone here with my negative experience ??
  7. Stage3 kicker KS Series kit issues/gripes

  9. Post levelling height adjusted UCA's.

Thanks for the visual. There is some squat and my skiff is a 95 Hewes redfisher which I suspect weighs a bit more than your so maybe best I stick with a 2" rise? Opinion?
  10. Post levelling height adjusted UCA's.

Hey thanks for the quick response! Would you suspect there be a safety issue should I keep the stock UCAs? Or am I simply limiting the bottom end of my down travel? I put my son and soon-to-be wife in here often enough. Safety is paramount
  11. Post levelling height adjusted UCA's.

How essential are height/geometry adjusted UCA's post 2" (maybe 2.5") leveling? Have x4 5100's en route and looking to maintain a comfortable and capable ride. I don't offroad and I lightly tow a 16' skiff. This truck will turn to rust underneath me if I have my way. Are they essential? If so...
