So they're gonna pull out and re-glue what is more than likely a perfectly good windshield on a vehicle with less than 2500 miles on it. Not in a hurry for that.
Yeah, I knew it was coming, but it's gonna be a hassle. There's so much tech in the windshield these days, plus replacing toll and wash stickers. Probably gonna put it off as long as I can.
How can companies "love" the fact that they have thousands of vehicles sitting in holding lots that they can't sell? And have to stop production on some models because they can't get parts? I don't think they're loving any part of this.
I guess I should be happy I only had to wait a couple months for mine after finding one a dealer had ordered and was being built. Decided on my Ranger when it became clear the Maverick I ordered last December wasn't going to be built until next August at the earliest.
Bilstein recommended the 4600 for 0 lift, so I just installed a set of rears on my Lariat FX4 and am REALLY happy with the ride quality. Just my opinion.
Just a note, the dealer had to replace my turbo before it even got delivered. Engine light came on during their inspection. It would have been under warranty anyway, but glad it happened before I picked it up. I did, BTW, go ahead and get the extended from Granger. That was very reasonably...
Just an FYI, mine went to "Final Preparation", on March 7, but sat on a holding lot for over 3 weeks. It was only 15 minutes from the dealer. They finally had to get permission to go to the lot and pick it up themselves. Can't find transport truck drivers. Finally taking delivery tomorrow.
