I donāt know what the tire size threshold for voiding a warranty is. But I can tell you that SanTan Ford where I bought my truck has no problems putting 33s on Rangers.
Itās the only dealership I know in Phoenix area that has a full aftermarket department that will install complete suspension...
I wouldnāt worry about the 33ās. Most of us doing basic upgrades are going to something in that size. As a matter of fact the Ford dealership I bought my truck at in Gilbert Arizona(SanTan Ford)will do all the upgrades for you, lift kits, tires etc. The eco-boost transmission will take whatever...
It takes a few minutes to fold up and secure. What takes a while is packing the annex. Probably spend 10min folding the annex then stuffing it into its duffel bag storage.
So about 20min + or - a few.
Update to my original post. I got the Livernois tune for my Ranger back in September.
After talking to Anthony at Livernois the tune is single-handedly the biggest adjustment you can make to your Ranger.
*** special note*** I at first was not to impressed with the tune. So I called Livernois...
Hey guys,
This is more of an update to a prior thread of mine.... I had a asked about what improvements are gained after ātuningā and running 87octane. It seems there are many benefits to a ātuneā even if not purely interested in straight up HP/TQ gains.
Anyway, back to the point, I found...
Thanks for the input guys,
Iām not opposed to running higher octane. I just donāt want to if I donāt need to or if itās not really necessary.
It sounds like I would benefit from just simply increasing octane and a tune.
Thereās a lot of hype and gimmick in products and I just want to make sure...
Hi guys,
Full disclosure, Iām not interested in racing my truck on the street or track. Just want to optimize its performance for daily driving and basic off-road use.
Just wondering if thereās much benefit to an aftermarket tune or even the new Ford Performance tune for the Ranger after...
Well....problem solved. Iām happy to report back to our group that the o-ring was dry.
found this video on YouTube.
decided to give it a try and added some Lucas Gun oil to the ring and reseated everything. Worked like a charm!
thank you guys for all your input.
The sound come from inset hood. Not in the cab.
Im gonna put the OEM BOV back on and see what happens.
If that cures the problem, do I accept it as normal?
Hey guys,
So I just open the hood and double checked my connections on the blowoff valve. I thought it mightāve looked loose because of a tiny gap but I realize that was the space allowed for the gasket. I did remove it and took pictures of it looks like there may have been some type of...
Thanks guys.
Iām sure itās not the tires. At any speed, if I get on the it, it will make the sound. Very distinct, I hope Iām describing it properly. I hadnāt thought of it as a high pitched whistle.
Iām gonna go out there and see if I can record it while driving and see what yāall think. Iāll...
Hey guys,
Just wondering if anybody out there has had any issues with squealing sounds/possible belt sounds on acceleration.
I have a 2019 Ranger XL FX4.
I only began to notice the squealing over the last week after installing a new AWE exhaust and a Turbosmart BOV. Just installed the Roush...
