Great Pic - thanks. The 5G Ranger is an older design and set for a new generation soon. However, it continues to amaze me at how awesome and tough this 5G truck looks. And how it is so far ahead of anything else in the midsize market (imo).

Same thing with mine - came in about $500 less than what is showed to build a '22. Dealer will do X-Plan and Ford has a $500 rebate for ordering.

Ranger won the KBB 5 year to own lowest cost award. There is a post on here (that you can find on the main page) that talks about that.

The Tacoma was OK and just 'OK'. The Ranger (to me) was a much better truck so that's why I changed. I would buy the Ranger again (actually did, updated to a 2021) and I am thinking I will be interested in the 6G Ranger maybe in a few years. I test drove the new Frontier just out of curiosity...

For sure the Ranger - a better truck IMO in so many ways. Looking at JD Power ("The J.D. Power 100-Point Score is based on hundreds of thousands of independent and unbiased opinions of verified car owners") the Ranger beats the Tacoma for quality and reliability. Google 'JD Power and Ford...

I had an issue with a Tacoma. It was the rubber flap that spans the gap between the bed and cab. The dealer used a silicone lube on the rubber flap and the noise was totally gone. In my case, it was just one side that needed the lube.

Totally agree - especially when you say 'night and day' because the Ranger is better (imo) is so very many ways.

Yes. I've had the exact same experience . The Ranger is so smooth, quiet, and effortless to get up to speed compared to the Tacoma.
