Here in Texas, tailgate thefts are common and drive up insurance rates. I put simple hose clamps on my last truck, but it doesn't look like i could get them on this tailgate. The hinges are designed differently. Any tailgate locks designed for Rangers?

Can Forscan disable the safety feature of not being able to read text messages while driving? The screen that pops up has a bunch of other stuff to read and buttons to push on it while driving, iunno why they think that the only thing you cant read is the text would make any difference?

I got the app to work on my phone, so Im glad for that. Even though I got two keys, I'm bad about losing them so I want a third.

I just got my Ranger about two weeks ago. I want to disable the stupid auto start/stop, the automatic bright lights, and the horn honking if I press the lock button on my remote twice. Those things are annoying. I already disabled my seatbelt warning and back seat occupant check nag screen...

Thank you all for the love. I tried sport mode and it does deactivate the stupid start stop and is very quick from a stop. I have been reading about tunes for it that bumps it up past 300HP, too. The Ford performance tune wont void the warranty and can be done at a dealer. Anyone have that...

The dealer said the only had it for a week and another dealer wanted it for a customer. I just stub=mbled upon it and stopped on my way to look at a Tacoma and bought it right away.

I like using FORscan to just diable it.

I've been watching videos and reading stuff about getting a wireing harness or disconnecting a wire from the battery, bur what have you guys done? What are the consequences pf using any of these methods?

This is an awesome off road package! I just got it a few days ago and have yet to try sport mode or higher octane gas to see just what she can do. I want to break it in first. It's black with red accents in the grille and the seats are leather and ultrasuede.

New 2023 XLT Tremor. I had a 2003 ranger, then traded it in 2016 for a Ram, but am back in a Ranger now and am very happy with this truck! The Tremor package is amazing! Thank you for this forum!
