    94200 miles 2019. No problems. Tow 3000 lb camper. Just normal maintenance. No transmission fluid changes. Afraid to mess with good thing. Heard some say they changed transmission fluid and had problems from disturbing the sediment.

    I just signed up for CarShield Platinum. I have 94200 miles on it. They gave it to me for $99.00 a month. Should cover everything except normal cosmetic stuff. Is this a good deal?

    2019 xlt tow trailer 3000lbs empty plus truck bet loaded with firewood and camping gear maybe 7-800 lbs. get 15-17mpg run between 65-75 mph

  7. The last straw?

    Had same thing “bucking” replaced DPFE valve and problem solved!! Easy fix.

    No had it done by mechanic. 10 yrs ago I could have done it myself. I took it to the shop and showed the mechanic that I wanted him to replace this module with the one I have in hand. So he knew, I knew, where it was and I had the module. Lol

    Ford quoted me $499 to change the DPFE module. I bought the ford part for $90 and had installed for $30. Fixed the problem!!

    I watched a video of a guy busting one open and found lots of water in it. That’s why I thought if it did it again, I would try putting an inline filter on it.

    So it’s got to be because there is water vapor left in the line farther down then. I wonder if you used something to vacuum it out before installing the new one if that would help? Or would an inline filter work?

    Another update—- I took a 700 mile trip and running 65-75 mph. When I got back, which has been 2 weeks now all the bucking and low speed misfires are gone. Runs smooth as silk. I’m thinking maybe there was a little moisture left in the line after the DPFE was replaced and the drive blew it...

    Update. Had the DPFE sensor replaced. It started out great. Thought problem was solved. It within a few stop and starts it started again. But not as often. I got on it up to about 4000 RPMs, to keep from a simi running me over and lo and behold it started running g very smooth for a couple...
