Mine sits 3/8” lower on the left rear. It’s only noticeable if I’m parked or stopped on uneven ground. Ford says this is “within tolerance” so no remedy there. I’m going to address this with new leafs when I do my lift.
About every other Ranger I see on the road has this issue.
If it records while it is parked, be prepared for a dead battery. They make external battery packs but they are as much as the camera in most instances.
I am getting the one (can’t remember the brand) that has front and rear camera in the one unit that goes in the windshield. You still get...
Direct Injection will spray gas past the piston and into the oil. Nature of the beast. Having said that, this is my 4th turbo with direct injection and after 210,000 miles collectively with the previous 3, I never had a single problem. Different manufacturer but the concept is the same.
Having had 3 manuals in a row, it is such a pleasant experience to just hit the gas and go in my Ranger. I’m getting too old to row my own. It’s my daily and manuals suck in traffic.
A lot of problems I read and or/hear about are related to people using their truck outside the margins of what its intended purpose is.
This truck is very rewarding if you let it warm up a tad before ripping ass down the road. If you are light on the throttle, the gearbox will happily comply to...
My 2020 sits 3/8” low on the left rear and 1/4” low on the left front.
You cannot tell the front, but the rear, if it sitting on any pavement not level, reveals a lean.
There is a 1/4” shim already installed on the left leaf. I’m thinking of either replacing the 1/4” shim with a 1/2” or...
My points were in literally in my account a few days after the purchase of my Ranger. I’m thinking of using it for a rear seat cover/protector, but Jeez that thing is almost $400 with tax.
I agree with this. I would rather have a loaded Ranger Lariat than a F-150, etc. I also have a RAM 1500 “LoneStar” that is moderately equipped that was deeply discounted, yet still 48k.
Hey guys. Hello from Bulverde, Texas.
Bought this a few weeks ago.
Loaded FX4 Lariat except for trailer package.
I plan on Eibach coilovers, rear 1” block and tall / skinny 255-75-17’s for that factory look. I do like a little rake. I don’t want it completely “level”.

I have decided to take mine off. I don’t use them as I’m 6’1”, and even a modest lift I’ll be ok. The oem’s kinda look like an afterthought to me.
I am thinking of getting these just for rock chip protection from the road when I put in some sliders. I have those rewards burning a hole in my...
Mine read 50 till empty last night. I drive another 20 miles and topped off. It took 17 gallons, so by my math I only had 20-25 miles left in the tank. I have been getting 23 mpg’s so fairly accurate I’d say.
I’m sure there’s some room for error (reserve) so someone doesn’t run it out of gas.
The manual rear sliding glass is one thing I don’t understand. The only time I would enjoy this feature is on a country road with the windows down. Am I to pull over during my commute to manually open the sliding glass to enjoy? Then pull over again to close when I hit the highway? I think...
Hello there. New forum member here.
You will not regret getting a Ranger. I just purchased a 2020 Lariat optioned to the max (minus the towing package) for 39k out the door. You can still find 2020’s. The total rebates on my truck were $6,500.
I have had 3 consecutive turbo’s prior to this...
