Same here for a 2023 XLT.

I’d love to see a discussion of the various possibilities that would span individual bulbs to whole headlight assembly units including dealer and non-dealer options. Ideally, it would include ball park pricing, challenges, strengths and weaknesses. Has this been discussed in the forums already? My limited search efforts have not found anything substantive.

A single topic covering all of it? No. There are 3-4 led headlight replacements available which have been discussed on these forums. I’ve got the gtr carbide that have worked pretty well putting aside a defect causing me to get a replacement set (noticeable after install).
Drop ins are not good. There are plenty on these forums who have deluded themselves into thinking they are acceptable, but a led on a pcb will not match the profile of a filament you are replacing. You also overdrive the reflectors and put scatter everywhere. They are also illegal.

Plenty of people use the twisted logic of “well looks good to me. I don’t get flashed often” as if that justifies them mildly blinding other drivers. Selfish.

Thanks for your response. I've become aware of an LED's inherently dispursed focal point for light emission and the issues that presents. So, it would appear that a wholesale replacement of the Halogen unit would be the best option. This might present a pricey alternative for a new assembly. Makes me then wonder if units from a wrecker is the best option.

Same, 2023 XLT.

Are the Lariat OEM headlights plug and play on the XLT?

Lots of threads on here with what’s offered for LED aftermarket alternatives.

Or hit the junkyards and see if you can get lucky with one that’s getting parted out. They’re still going to run about 500 to 600 for the pair if your lucky. Try partfinder.com and do a search. Do not pay for the instant listings. They will email you what’s currently out there for sale.

No matter your choice the swap out will require Forscan to get them working properly

They plug right in, but like Trig said, you have to change a couple of settings with Forscan so that it will activate the LED DRLs. I think the low beam/high beam worked out of the box for me. The factory LEDs just lift a shutter to remove the low beam cut off to make the “high beam”.
