On my 285-70-17's I'm noticing an immediate 3-4 MPG loss in stop/go driving around town, but probably closer to 1-2 MPG once it's rolling on the highway at a steady speed. Seems to make sense that the acceleration would take the biggest hit for the added surface area and weight of the tires.

I agree with this! What tires did you go with?

I got the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I was on the fence about going w/ BFG KO2's, but I saved about $150 by going w/ the Grapplers. Might end up paying more than that in gas... :puke:

I'll add that I also deleted my front spoiler in lieu of the FX4 Skid, so that's impacting a bit on it's own. Maybe an additional 1-2 MPG. As easy as it was to swap out, I may go back to the spoiler for daily driving, then put on the skid when I plan to go off of pavement.

after about 400 miles on the tires, I am averaging 19.5 MPG according to the truck.

Did you have to run any spacers or remove the crash bars?

I purchased the same set up. I haven’t had the chance to install them yet since my tires somehow got lost. I’m running fordrangerlift 3in lift.

Did you get the set-up on yet? Any crashbar modifications or anything?
