XLT Sport - What should be my highest price paid

Go to Edmunds or Kelleys and Build the exact truck and it will show the dealer invoice cost. At the very least, use that as the basis for deducting cash discount. But with this economy, they should do even better than that in discounting.

They're saying invoice is 38206. That seems very high to me. I usually shoot for 15-20% off MSRP. So I was thinking around 32-33k.

I got an XLT sport in saber 4x2 otd for 30500 with the 5k and 0% for 84
based on some of the features, I would start at 32, or maybe shoot for that. I might of been able to get a lower price, but I played two dealers off each other and that seemed to be the bottom

I found another dealer with a similar truck but 301 and no locker discounted 15%. So it's definitely possible.

This. My XLT 302A was stickered at 40800 and I walked out the door for 32400 and that was BEFORE the economy was turned off.

In this market I would utterly laugh at a discount of $1750. I would not buy right now without at least $5-$8K off. There are NO SALES. Dealers are lucky just to sell a truck right now. You need to go in with the attitude that you are special because you are buying a truck during a pandemic, and the dealer better be ready to give you a good price for it. Seriously. Late last year some of us got $8-$10K off our trucks without a pandemic, Ford is practically dying, what is this $1750 crap?

Officially Ford says without, but you sure can negotiate with them.

are you trading in something? have good credit? if I had a low value trade and credit is good .you should be able to get that for 32 give take a few hundred before taxes and reg. using fords 0% I would for for those numbers here in ct anyways.(I got this on a 301a xlt not a sport.4x4 with 1.9 in july but msrp was 36.ENJOY YOUR TRUCKING BUYING !! you are a Rockstar in this buyers climate remember that!!

We just bought a new ford for my wife, basically you give up $500 of the ford rebates to get the 0/84 finance deal. Here in Houston you would get a dealer discount of $4k or so on top of the rebates. I would expect to pay around $5-6k off list and get the 0/84 finance.

Tell them to go pound sand! I bought my Lariat for less than that last July and with 0% for 60 months. If you're not in a hurry I'd wait another few weeks,or more. Sales are not going to take off anytime soon and the dealers will be desperate to get rid of their inventory. If you're willing to travel a bit expand your search to neighboring states,it might be worth a long weekend trip.

um that is one nice truck I would for sure ry o ork some numbers in my favor before giving
