Lariat 4X2 with locking diff and absolutely love it. No need for 4x4 in Houston unless you want to go out muddin. Just added a 2.5" leveling kit and 1.25" spacers. Haven't had much opportunity to drive it much since the kit install, but hopeful it will resolve some of the undulating bounciness. If not Bilstein is hopefully going to be releasing front struts for the US market soon that should resolve that.

I went with the 4x2 to save money. I also have a 2016 Jeep Cherokee for when I need to get around during the winter months here in Missouri.

I went with the 2020 4x2 XL and installed a ARB rear locker on it. Haven't had a chance to take it out yet, we will this weekend.

I went with it because of price and with a locker and some good A/T tires, I'll be set for what I want to do and if I get outside that area, I also added a winch....

The one thing missing from my 2019, i am thinking about doing down the line. Just looking at parts over $1500 plus install?

My STX Super Cab 4x2 should be here around the first of November. I already have a Wrangler to play with off road, so another 4wd would have been 1 too many. :)

Since I live in Southern California I have no need for a 4x4. My last truck was a 2007 4x4 And I never used it once. Plus I got to save money for more aftermarket parts! ?

I had the dealer find an XL/STX with locking differential. He found one at another dealer and it was at a surprising good price. Very happy with the Ranger.

Had an International Scout II 4x4 a number of years back and still got stuck.

Glad to see some love for the 4x2

I moved back to New England from Nevada 2 years ago and really didn't feel the need for 4x4.

There's not any real off-roading to speak of (by comparison). If the snow gets that bad, then either stay home or let's turn the Traction Control off and go play!

There wasn't any 4x2 inventory in the region, from any manufacturer. Not Ford. Not Toyota. Not chevy / GMC...

Glad that I found a great dealer and ordered what I wanted.

Yep, it’s difficult to find 2WD pickups in New Hampshire. Many cargo vans, but no trucks.
