I am trying to make my truck as comfortable, capable, and reliable as possible as an "overlander" and a daily. I'm curious where you all think I should spend my next 1000ish dollars I'm split between 2 things rock sliders or leaf springs. On one hand, sliders would give a lot of protection and ease of mind offroad while offering a step for opening my RTT and just getting in. Alternatively, a parabolic leaf pack should improve ride quality but also be better for the truck since my bed has a constant load of about 500+ LBS, and I'm not sure how long my stock springs plus the AAL can take the weight. Anyways thanks for your input!

SPRINGS:

P.S.
I plan to do both eventually. But maybe you think it should go somewhere else entirely let me know.

I'd probably do the springs first. Seems like these would be better off in improving your ride and alleviating any other potential issues down the road with all that weight. The sliders are nice but most times you can keep yourself out of tricky situations where sliders are needed. Plus Christmas is right around the corner and maybe Santa will bring you the sliders. ??

I think you’ll appreciate the sliders every once in a while but you’ll appreciate the suspension upgrade every single day.

Yeah, and like Dave says…Christmas.

Definitely springs.

And at least with my Shrockworks sliders, they don't make a very good step.

for me sliders are more important ive been in lots of situations where oh you can avoid it no issue then the truck will shift or slide and my sliders have saved me... i want them badly for the ranger but no money for em atm which tbh suuuucks

I’m in agreement with most of the reply’s. Do the springs. Bang for the buck can’t go wrong. I’ll be finding out how good my stock ones are tomorrow. Got to haul a couple tons of wood pellets. Probably do it in 3 trips. Wonder if they will sag afterwards? ??‍♂

I would go for sliders. Rear leafs (especially since you already have an upgrade with the add a leaf)aren't going to do much for your capability. Sliders will give you confidence to test your capability. Ergo, sliders.
