What year is this?

I posted this on the Ranger6G site, with little success. here it is:

I was waiting on a lunch friend at Dion's in south Roswell, NM this noon (yesterday). I noticed a Ranger pull into the parking lot of a business next door. It was silver in color, had an FX4 decal on the rear bed side, and otherwise looked like any other current Ranger Lariat. Except that is, in the rear. It had dual exhaust tips, with cutouts in the bumper for them. I remember seeing photos of a supposed V6 Ranger, with dual exhaust tips out the back. But as I recall, that was a 2024 model, and they're not out yet. Did I miss something?

Sounds like a custom bumper and exhaust were added to a 5G Ranger. Or someone dropped a V6 into their Ranger.

Likely what Dave said. I've been amazed at how different a Ranger can look with a few add-ons like the tailgate applique, spoiler, rocker panel armor, etc. I am assuming someone just did a custom exhaust/bumper.

Well, it sported a paper plate, and looked brand new! I did contact my dealer salesperson (also sales manager), and he did not sell the Ranger in question. Next time, I'll photograph it!

I wasn't quick enough on the draw! By the time I got out my iPhone out he was gone. I did capture the truck on my rear viewing dash camera. Unfortunately, the view is obscured by another PU truck.

Someone didn't like the stolen fence post look of the stock exhaust when they bought it maybe?

It was amazing how much better a fairly cheap tip made mine look from the back. Not sure if I could put duals on it and it starting to sound like a pissed off Focus. I like the, makes no noise, but hauls ass thing I have going now... With it's cheesy exhaust tip.
