Hi All,

I have a new LXT, FX4 on the way. My previous 4wd vehicles had manual everything and it was easy to check operation of the front hubs, transfer case, etc. Any suggestions for things to check on a new FX4?

The real question is "What knowledge do you hope to gain by checking your 4x4?". Basically it's all automatic now, so there's nothing to mess up or forget to turn on.

If your hope is to figure out whether or not it's working, I suggest going on grass, engaging 4hi and turn in a circle. You will be able to tell right away if you're in 4x4.
