On this screen, what is the thing I circled? It's been at 18 MPH since I got the truck (about 500 miles ago).

You have a different cluster than me but I believe it is the average MPH of the miles you have driven.

If you increase that maybe your MPG will go up too. :giggle:

IdahoRanger is right.
It's your average speed...
And he's right in that if you're able to increase that (less stop-and-go traveling), your mpg will go up a bit.

It's your average speed...
And he's right in that if you're able to increase that (less stop-and-go traveling), your mpg will go up a bit.

From a much earlier post about MPG's somewhere here in the forums.
I have just over 20K miles on the truck now, and this still holds true for my average mpg.

Yeah, it's not broken. It's the average speed the truck has traveled for all trips since it was last reset. Do as @RANGER PRIDE suggests and reset it.

Well, crap, I'm going to have to speed a lot more. I thought it was broken because it never changes.

AVG MPG since last reset. to reset, hold "OK" button on steering wheel (on XLT)
