Think that’s part of the fuel system. We have a return for the high pressure fuel pump. Also vapor control etc. That all needs monitoring. Schematics of electrical systems would shine more light in exactly what this all does

Wait, is this on your Everest?

Do you have back-up sensors?

Just went out and rolled around under my truck, can't find that thing anywhere. I didn't even see the pipes that are also in the picture.

Yes it has back up sensors. The plug is just in a blank connector, Its not doing anything.

No its the very rear, The Everest has rear heating/cooling.

Its mounted at the passenger rear on the main frame. Really close to the exhaust tip.

That definitely looks like it. Im guessing just the harness is there though, I dont have anything on the console for towing. Where is this located on the US Ranger, the selector part? Thank you for posting that pic. Im assuming the other end is the trailer connection?

On the Rangers, There really isn't anything on the dash for towing except for one button that controls the shifting. My truck automatically recognizes the trailer has been hooked up and displays a couple of prompts on the screen having to deal with trailer sway control and blind spot monitoring. (If I remember correctly. I haven't towed my boat in a couple of months.)

You still need to push the towing button if the trailer is heavy or else you will not get very good feeling shifts, engine braking, and you'll have to push the gas harder to do any acceleration.

Yes. That's the one button I was referring to. My truck seems to like that button being pushed when I have my boat behind it!
