Yes. Same for me, I had to wait on my delivery to see what incentives were available. Luckily they had 0% for 60 months.

If history is any indication there aren't many incentives on a new year model vehicle. You may see $500 customer cash, something of an incentive if you trade, and a low loan rate. Of course I'm no expert, and I hope there's a lot when you decide to buy.

And, the dealer is right. they'll give you wants available when it arrives.

On Cars.com there are some 2021 Rangers for sale. most are showing a $1000.00 incentive or a terrible 1.9% for 39 months. I expect everything (rebates and such) to change on January 5th. when the holiday sale is over. My 2021 is estimated to be here around Jan 13. I still do not know the final price. Frustrating

When I ordered our MY20 Lariat SuperCab, salesman told me they would compare offers at order time to offers at time of delivery, then apply those that were better for us.

They applied order date offers which were much better.

Things may be slightly different this year (due to COVID, etc), but I ordered my 2019 on 12/23/2018 and picked it up from the dealer on 4/14/2019 (almost 4 months). That was still near the beginning of production. Generally speaking, you'll get the VIN about a month after the order is submitted.

I didn't know my final price until I negotiated it. 30 minutes later, I was signing the paperwork in the finance office. Incentives are regional and rarely offered on new year model vehicles. Especially when they're just arriving at the dealership. Buy last year's model if you want more incentives.

If you can still find a 2020 on a lot it will most likely be a loaded one with plenty of incentives to move it off the lot. They’re running out of time to get them sold.

Here is the truck pre-delivery, I picked it up Friday January 8th. the process from when the dealer said come get it to leaving the lot was about 3 1/2 hours. they needed to see the check from the bank before they would give me the keys.

Actual time line. Decided on a ranger in August. (refinanced house to pay for it October 27th.) Ordered 2021 October 28th. Received Vin November 13th. Build date Approximately Dec. 21. Received truck Jan 8th. Went out of country Jan 10th. Started Modifying it Jan 16.

I am not planning on changing out the tires just yet. (I really like the black rims) it will be getting better rear shocks.

around my area, when you place an order, the incentives available at that time are applied and your price calculated.
if any new incentives are offered, you can take advantage of them at delivery. thats a good thing if any new incentives are better than the day you ordered. and especially good if they are worse offers, because no matter how many months since the old incentives were applied, they dont expire.
Same here and right now $1250 retail customer cash rebate on a 2021 Lariat Tremor is the current incentive in our area.
