Thought I was getting sick with CFS,

I'm good with the changes. But if there could be a post on what the changes are and how to use them. That would be great.

The only changes are that the What's New link now defaults to an Unread Posts view (instead of the previous All Posts [read & unread]). There's also now a refresh button you can click on to easily refresh the view (just an alternative to using your browser's refresh).

So is "what's new" the same as what used to be "new posts?" You should tell us these things when making changes.

Also, the emails for subscribed threads that just show the thread title with no content are completely pointless. Might as well just turn that feature off now.

And do you guys prefer the default view to be a list of all recent posts (read and unread) or just the unread posts?
I definitely prefer an unread posts category. At least keep new posts, or whatever you call it, as a full size window.
