What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Deleted member 15875

Took my oldest daughter to a couple Stealerships to try and get her in a new small AWD lease.
I'd prefer to get her in a new set of wheels for a 3 year lease as opposed to a used purchase. Just a little peace of mind for me at least.
What they want down and the monthly payments are insane.
Couldn't wait to get home and de-stress with a cocktail.
Mission-un accomplished.....for now
Things are Not good my friends......
Think of the headache you'd have for months if you went through with it!

Looks good, who did it and it is Rhinoliner? I just put in a drop-in liner b/c I couldn't decide if I wanted to go with the spray-in liner option. Still on the fence between a bedrug carpeted liner or a spay in. Is it grippy enough?

You could do the spray and a bedrug. ;)

today the ranger and i decided to go for a hike in the woods. it was nice and peaceful. made about 4 miles. while that may not seem far to some half of it was brush and sand plus im old / slow lol. no political bs or pop up adds, just outdoors. came across mr no shoulders. but he looked my direction for few minutes and then went on his way when i kicked some dirt at him. tx has bout 15 different poisonous snake species so im always watching my feet in the woods lol.

I was felling trees for whole day and at the end packed all the stuff to Ranger. When the day was over I gave a lift to a fellow for railway station and his stuff was packed also into the bed. And when reversing out of the parking spot I reversed into a pole while chatting with him.

Sensors never beeped, pole was not visible on the rear view camera due to rain and didn't even see it from the mirrors.

Result was that the pole bent, tow bolt got hit and the adapter attached to the trailer electricity connector lost its cap.

Now I need to get a new adapter. :p

It was done by a Bullet dealer. Bullet was founded by the guy who started LineX. I chose Bullet because the UV protection is part of the product, not an optional top coat you have to purchase.

I wouldn't say it's grippy. But, I have a rubber bed mat I'm putting on top as the spray in bedliners are hard on the knees if you are working in the bed.

For my use of hauling hay / dirt / stone, a bed rug wouldn't work too well

She didn't get as dirty as I expected, but I had a great first time out with Northeast Off-Road Adventures (NORA) at their annual Hunter Mountain Fall Foliage Tour. My truck performed beautifully and it was an awesome first "guys trip" with my father and son. I was very impressed with how well organized and managed the trip was. We will be back again! I highly recommend checking out some of their various off-road courses if your in the northeast.

Not today, yesterday - went to church, then spent the day with the wife hanging out and looking for some things we need to upgrade around the house. Lots of ideas, but the only thing I pulled the trigger on was some lumber to build a few more drawers in her closet. So used the ranger to ‘haul’ some small lumber items. Better than putting them in through the back of the SUV and sticking them in the driver cab.

And having the SuperCab, was able to close the tailgate to keep everything secure while in a few other stores.
