Man, the court stuff has already been a major headache. I let the solicitors office know I was going on a cruise from 1/30 to 2/6. I let them know that the moving company was packing my house on 2/21 and loading my house on 2/22. I also let then know that at 0400 on 2/23, I was south-bound to my new house in FL. They sent me a subpoena for when I was on my cruise. Then they subpoenaed me for the day the moving company was loading my house into their truck and for the day I was driving south. Arghhhhhh!

At least now they've fixed it where all I need to do is be available on the 23rd, and now they're letting me testify via Zoom. So now after the moving company is done with my house on the 22nd, I will hop in the truck and head 8 hours south!
It’s like they did not even look at what you submitted ?. Years ago when I transferred across the province the Crown wanted me to come back to my old region for some trial. Until they found out how much it would cost to fly me back, taxi costs motel stays, meals ect….. needless to say my notes were deemed “good enough “. Here’s hoping once you are settled in at your new digs they leave you alone ?

Well Wednesday, my Ford Performance Power Pack arrived and was installed by the dealer. Friday, I drove it south from NC to GA pulling a borrowed popup camper with my bike on the roof rack and got 21.8 MPG over 300+ miles.

Also, on this drive it was the least stressful drive I've ever had, I set the cruise and let the ACC do its thing and it was great. I was not bothered by people going slower than I wanted to, the truck just adjusted it for me. I just ignored the speed other than adjusting the max speed as the speed limits changed on the non-freeway route (that "avoid freeway" route included I-95 from NC boarder to 20 minutes from my destination for some reason).

Pepper and I watched the Daytona 500 today, and saw an awesome finish, with the win by the rookie in the @Discount Tire Mustang Nextgen car! Pepper now thinks she's a Next-gen Ranger:champagne:

I dragged myself out and made mine carry a new table saw. I was sick and tired oof fighting with a cheap (cheaper?) saw. The fence broke twice, the miter broke, I could not get the fence calibrated bc of design flaws. Using this dewalt felt like a dream machine compared. So my daughter ask if she could have the box, I agreed. Then she built a house, I should just let her finish the kitchen.

Cooper (our Dog) approved of the house.

I didn't have a reason to get the Ranger out on my weekly day off last Friday, but I did drive it around the neighborhood this afternoon. The wife even came along.

abbs and I went out exploring some small towns and ghost towns. got a little dusty and dirty. ended up going by the old donnell mill. I was wanting to walk around the old town site etc. but it was covered up with no trespassing signs. Main street was interesting, had a sign still and about 30 yards of old pavement then dirt and trees again all with no go signs. least I got to see from the bridge.

Hope everyone had a safe President’s Day weekend. Just got back from spending a couple days out in Ocala National Forest.

Went down a few numbered trails that hadn’t been driven in a while and realized it when it was too late. At that point it was like ripping off a bandaid, I had to just keep going. Truck got quite a few(a lot) of scratches in the process.

Heading home today we stopped at the Daytona Beach Buc-cees to fuel up, grab some breakfast, and watch the SpaceX Falcon 9 launching from the cape. The red arrow in one of the photos is showing the ?.

Also on the drive home I noticed the truck was driving funny. And quick steering or bumps in the road made her roll like a car with horrible body roll. At the first test stop I found the passenger side stabilizer link had disconnected from the sway bar. This was the same link I replaced after damaging the original installing the leveling kit.
