Spent last night dispersed at one of my favorite camping spots, Hopkins Prairie in Ocala National Forest. Got to test out the Qomotop mattress/pad I picked up from Amazon. Warm day and a cool evening.

On the drive back today we swung by Lake Okeechobee to check it out.

Working day for my truck. Helped my wife out with her project. She teaches local coastal communities (which tend to be poor in the Philippines) how to upcycle their plastic waste, so they both earn from what could potentially just be trash, plus minimize plastic that otherwise gets thrown into the ocean.

We went to Lowes for a new multimeter to fix my HVAC and yard consumables, fertilizer, weed killer, etc.


Couldn't find the leads to my old meter, and figured I'd just grab the whole shebang. While repairing my AC I found the leads while grabbing a different tool.

Air conditioning works though.

The wife and I went to dinner a couple towns over this evening and I broke the Ranger out to make the trip.

It now has over 1K on it. It took me almost 8 months to achieve it, lol.

Provided transportation for younger generation to shop for making mothers day related purchases. While in the town I bought a cubic meter of soil, new hand saw, box of screws and some 4mm line for planting and making a raspberry trellis.

In the evening the truck kept overwatch while I put that pick-axe into good use and dug a small trench for the raspberries. Not much, only a 20 feet trench two feet deep. It will do this year as it seems that only 8 of the raspberries survived the winter. Largest rock I crowbar'd out was about 500lbs, found plenty of old bricks buried to the spot tho.

Also felled and chopped 5 smallish trees from the spot, the limbs I put through a chipper and will mix to the soil before planting.
