I took off my stock crash bars in tack. I am waiting for the new ready lift to come via Fedex.

Don't you need to leave the inserted sections in place and saw them off flush, as the aftermarket ones are designed to go inside of the remaining sections? Nice to know you can get them out intact though.

Not according to the Ready Lift instructions I read.

RETIRED!!!!
Took factory rear shocks off and put some new ones on. About 20 minutes total with clean up. Did it in the garage without a lift. Super easy

Honestly I preferred the Readylift but I couldn't tell for sure if they would clear 295/70r17 with +1mm offset on a 3" lift. The Fab's look to provide the most clearance without removing them altogether. Hence, I have Fabtech's sitting here for when my truck arrives. If I could verify the above I might change my mind.

I'm still waiting on Fedex. I may try 295/70/17 but was planning on 33' s, 285/70/17. I will have to see how much clearance I have once installed.

Let me know if you try the 295's! What lift are you going with? I already have wheels/tires so I'm committed on that part.

I have a Tremor so it is .8 higher stock plus I added 1/2 inch lift. The current tires are 32's so I know I have clearance to get 33's on.

Hmm maybe I played it too cautiously. I have Eibach pro truck kit so will be up by 3" in front. Probably could have gone with Readylift bars...

I received and put the Putco Grille on this evening after work. It took 5 minutes. There is a video that shows a guy taking things off and apart to do this. Goes to show you, do your research. The hole is filled up now. I like the look.

I put a lead on my battery so I can hook up my charger without opening the hood.
You don’t have the negative wire for that connector on the negative battery post do you? If so, refer to the manual regarding battery charging.
