Congrats on the new home. Where will it be?
That truck always makes me do a double take. Great looking ride!!!
Thank YOU!
We are moving to a better subdivision. The house is not real big, about 250sqm. However, its ours and our first home. It was torture getting to this point, and $10,000 in taxes and fees. Property is like Gold now, so atleast we have something invested in. We are very excited to finally have our place, and shop for our own furniture. :handsinair:

A damper will add at least twice that.
It's true + it'll also boost torque!! It'll help you to "Kill all Tires"!!

Robust for sure. I read somewhere on the forum that it really keeps the bugs off the windshield so the aero must really work.
I have same unit and posted a few times on the lack of bugness after driving ag country for a few hundred miles, in all seasons, you'll gonna love it...imo.

Yeah, only thing hurt is my pride.

That’s exactly what happened. Funny thing is, when someone from one of the offices came to see what happened, they said they had just finished repairing damage to the other pole from someone who hit it last week!
oh man I feel for ya!

Yeah, uh…about that... No car, just a yellow pole cemented into the ground:

If I had better shocks, the truck would’ve been more controlled through the maneuver, and likely avoided impact all together.
HI Jacob,

How fast were you going that shocks would even enter the equation? Call me puzzled but this does not make sense to me.

Trying to blame it on the damper no doubt ?

I was definitely going faster than I should have, but you're absolutely right: they wouldn't make a difference. But you know about cars, my wife doesn't. And when she's telling me no more purchases that I don't need, I have to find creative ways to justify things. "Well you see hon, since shocks impact handling...."

Trying to blame it on the damper no doubt ?
No damper here. I'm sure it if I had one, it would've DAMPENED the crash! ?

I finally got time to install the Bilstein 5100 rear shocks this morning. Took about 20 minutes and then a test drive. Big difference on ride quality. I don't think i will need to upgrade the fronts,..at least not yet.
I used a jack on my back hitch and lifted the truck body a few inches to relieve the shocks slightly. After that it was very easy. Compressing the shocks wasn't too bad. I over compress the shock and then slip the bolt in as the shock slowly extended by the hole.
Thank YOU!
