I finally took that picture. As they say: "there are many like it, but this one is mine."

I also adjusted the tire pressure. Dealer had them at 50 and it rode like a brick. I get that it's a truck, but I shouldn't feel my kidneys rearranging while driving. Dropped the pressure to 40 and it rides much, much better.
Is that what the door sticker said, or are those after market tires? My door says 30 and the dealer had them at 40, and yeah, almost shook out a kidney. At 30 it's much better.

The door sticker says 30. I am still playing around with the pressure, but 40 is already a huge difference. My guess? When they rolled it off the truck Wednesday (I bought it Saturday, but the dealer held it for me as soon as they rolled it off the truck) the tech doing the PDI set them to 50. The max pressure is 51. These are the stock 265/65r17 Hankook ATM tires.

In my younger days, I worked for Discount Tire. I have to say, I am surprised that the door placard would be 30. On a vehicle this size, I'd expect 35. 30 sounds too low, from my experience. I am going to do a chalk test soon and see where they wear best too. Ultimately though, I care about ride over longevity. I don't want the truck to feel 'floaty'.

I'll be interested in your chalk test. I know 40 to 30 is like night and day. I'll eventually swap the rear shocks but I can wait on that.

The truck will be getting new suspension all around in the long term, so I feel ya there. I'll share my results when I do it. It's pretty easy, but takes some time.

Have a set on order myself. Did you swap out for a heavier spring to accommodate for your bumper/winch? If so, what spring rate did you go with? How much preload did you set?
It's just the 600lb that comes with it for now. I may or may not go to the 650lb. We'll see how it does offroad. I left it in it's our of the box configuration which is 3"

I threw some KANGS in! Required a lot of cutting and trimming of my ADD bumper’s integrated skid plate so the reservoir would fit - but thankfully I knew that going in so we had all the proper tools.

Springs are still settling but so far it’s a huge upgrade over my old Icons!

These are the Performance Series with compression adjusters.

These look awesome! You should get 45 degree fittings for the reservoir can. Less stress on your hoses during actuation of the shocks.

So it changes it from the 90 degree to a 45? Interesting..

They jack up the pressure at the factory for shipping. Good looking truck!

I put the red grill letters and bug guard on.
IMG_6805.JPG
I have the same bug deflector and it does for me a 99.8% deflection, any bugs that do get to the windshield I believe are coming in from the side as far as I can tell. On a two hundred mile trip in ag country, I have maybe two or sometimes three splats is all and that is the most in several trips.

Red letters in grill...perfect!

Installed these bad boys yesterday, rear only. Amazing how much it helps. I’m not preparing myself before going over speed bumps anymore! Install was simple, bit of a PITA without jacking up the truck, but doable.

Shoutout to Stage 3 for the quick shipping and keeping me informed on the order!

Bought a spare 17" magnetic gray wheel and put a matching spare tire on it now. Barely fits but it does.

When you bought the spare OEM wheel for the spare, did it come with the center cap and TPMS? Everywhere I look is either out of stock (par for the course), or they don't offer center cap/TMPS in single packages (must buy a set of 4). Any link on where I could get a single with the aforementioned parts?
I want to be able to rotate my tires in with each oil change.
Thanks!

I bought it off a forum member here so I cannot link to where to purchase one with a center cap online. But when you mount your spare underneath the chain goes through the center of the wheel anyhow so you can't leave it in the spare wheel. So what you should do if you're rotating the spare is pop it off the wheel going back under and put it onto the spare that's going onto your truck.
