Hi Paul,

You have no idea of how heavy a micrometer is to a 72 year old.... :)

What running boards did you install? Every time I think I have made a decision on which set to go with I see another set(like yours) that make me reconsider.
Brian
These are Tyger star armor, but I'm going to let them go once I've decided on a set of sliders! So far these have been great, very solid and holding up well

https://sdhqoffroad.com/collections/sdhq-built-a-pillar-light-mounts they're expensive and a pain to install. Also getting a bit of rust after one winter. But they mount solidly and I can rock the truck with them
Yeah those are pricey. Hard for mild steel not to start rusting especially on sharp corners without a top notch coating. I have Diode Dynamics brackets which are quite a heavy gauge stainless and I'm still planning to have them line-x'd before installing to hopefully avoid coating chipping and breakdown. Anything but stainless or very well protected surfaces start to look like a ship's anchor in no time where I live.

It was warm enough today to apply the raised, gunmetal gray grill lettering inserts, so on they went. I did the tailgate in the house last week, and with the Putco grill insert I installed last week, I think I'm all done with my truck mods. ?
