I installed my trailer hitch today. Glad I opted to get the locking diff as opposed to the trailer towing kit, this was a simple and inexpensive upgrade (certainly a lot easier to install than a locking diff would have been!

Hitch install on the Ranger is cake! It’s amazing. Two small-ish C-clamps to keep the bumper from falling off and four bolts. I think I had my Draw-Tite slapped on in about 15 minutes.

I know these are not everyone's cup o' tea, but back as a youngster driving 70's and 80's trucks-I just have to have side moldings!
Got them from Sportwing.com. Ordered Monday night, they arrived early afternoon Thursday. Instead of Lightning Blue, I got the Metallic Magnetic to match the fender flares. Perfect match.

What did you buy for the bed lights? I bought a set of Auxito led bulbs from Amazon and they both already started to fail. Amazon sent me replacements that I just put in today, ill see how long they last. If they go bad again ill just get a refund and buy something else.

I’m pretty sure these are them. Black & Size “S”

They look great and are inexpensive. I like them way more than the vinyl options.

Only thing to note is I replaced the double-sided tape it came with with proper 3M branded tape.

Indeed they are! I’ve only encountered rubbing one time so far and that was with 3 people inside.

But based on what I’ve read, you can gain 1/4-3/8 of an inch by loosening the crash bars, pushing them forward and retightening them. Just haven’t done it yet.

Hi Gregg,

I remember that day fondly! Having been driving Ranger Prototypes for a few years before Job #1 it was a great moment...Who knew how well it would sell at launch but as they say....That is history! Ranger was a resounding success in its many permutations post model years! Proud to be part of that heritage!

Best,

Getting ready to run a few wires and sometimes, it's hard to find/get information from the forum or even google-foo and it's not always in a single place if you do find it. Today, I mapped out the interior fuse panel for hot/ignition power spare fuses in that panel.

For those who need or will need this info, hope this helps. :)
