Installed Ford /Deezee tailgate damper.
It literally took 5 minutes!
Easiest and most rewarding mod for the Ranger imho.
I dont get why it didnt come with the Ranger in the first place, or at least include it in some package options.
Like a new toy on Xmas morning. ?

I bet you was mesmerized on it's functionality. I know I was. ?

And so it begins anew: secret society hand signals, club only hats, Sunday after midnight behind the dollar store for warm IPA's and stories of the slow hand tailgate dropping, strange disappearance of free money for mods, additional mods, peer pressure, IRS investigations into alleged extra-curricular mod spending, removing of bodily parts by significant others because of outrageous spending and on and on and on.

Just cause you had to join the cult.:inspect:

I was like “Whoa man! Its like an anti gravity, time slo-mo disruptor device for the tailgate!” no more busted hand and knuckles trying to catch the dang thing! ...LOL

(but seriously tho, my Raptor had it and I forgot the ranger didnt come with it ...must’ve been the laughing stock when I tried to catch it in front of the dealer’s parking lot )

LoL, my wife got tired of asking me whats in the Amazon packages...
She knows when I traded the Raptor the new modding begins on the Ranger!

BTW, I’m IN for a “Dampers only“ club hat or decal stickers!
I smell a future Group Buy! ?

I finally put on the AVS Bugflector II on the front of my truck. Took about twenty minutes after watching the video and reading the instructions.

I also ordered one of the arm rest console organizers off of Amazon. It is supposed to be here by Thursday. Something simple that will make the console much more user friendly overall.

Swing out tailgate toolbox or two..... retractable bed cover... and tailgate damper are next.... probably by New Year.

Installed this ARB cargo drawer (RDRF1355 + half of the MA19FKEK side floor kit). Drilling the first hole through the bed was a bit stressful!

Ha! You think that was stressful! Check out what I had to do for ARB's snorkel! LOL

That drawer setup looks pretty nice and I'm envious! I can see that system working out nice with a slide-out for their fridge/freezer and such!

Installed the Wolfhaus power outlet. I'm pretty impressed by this thing. It's much nicer than I was expecting for a small operation. He got all the details right; foam gasket on back, logo in the side and full color instructions. Looks like he's also based in my state too

You definitively win for most stressful bodywork! The drawer has a roller floor that slides out independently of the drawer (there's an option without this too), so no separate fridge slide needed. It was also the only option I could find for just a single drawer unit with the side trim, so I get to keep half of the bed space.

I took the Ranger, now at 5000 miles, to my neighbor’s Meineke shop and let them change the oil. Of course I brought my own oil and filter, which they expect from me, and talked the mechanic through the process while he worked. Next time they can do it without me. Baby steps...

Installed a console vault into my center console. They make one that fits under the rear seat, but I have a sub installed there so...
It is a nice sturdy piec,so I can lock things up that I can’t carry into some establishments.

I finally did it. Yep, sure did. Did a mod to the tailgate. Nooo, not that thing. Added eyecatcher inlays to the lettering. Matt black. Just trying to keep up guys.
