Installed the tailgate seal. Kit was very thorough, installer not so much (me ). Overall, it went easy and results look good from in backside of tailgate when closed...we'll see. Kit from Amazon here for example

Strange that there's something missing there and I can't quite put my finger on it. :lipssealed:

Nice.
And all this time I had no idea my tailgate needed sealing.
Or Damping ;)
Need some way to keep a damper rod from getting dusty and then clogging the whole works up so that people with O.O. style arms (Olive Oyl) would actually strain themselves lowering the tailgate or rather pushing it down cause the damper is resisting gravity now. :crying:

Well, when you put it like that...
Makes a world of sense!
I'll look into it.

I got to see my Ranger for the first time and take it for a drive! It arrived at the dealership last Saturday one week earlier than expected.

It can't come home yet, the dealer is going to install the Ford Performance/Borla exhaust when it shows up.

What psi are you running on the Wildpeaks? I just got some and wondering if I should air mine down a little.
The Wildpeaks just went on Friday and I haven’t dug into what’s optimal for them yet. They were installed at about 35 psi according to the Ford app. Not much help, sorry!

Put some tape in the door sills to mitigate damages since my running boards are currently backordered. The tape looks nice enough that I could fool most people into believing it was factory.

I agree they look like they came from the factory. Nice job!

I have not... yet

I'll probably go with an mbrp. Hard decision though.
They certainly make a nice exhaust, I had one on my Focus St. I ended up going with AWE, based on feedback from others on this forum. Their exhaust is more money but I am happy with it.

Hi Folks,

I updated my Ford Pass app today. My Ranger was happy to still be connected to my phone so it can send messages every 14 days that it is lonely even though I walk by it every day on my way to the shop and pat it on the nose. Be glad when we can get out more when this Covid19 pandemic is waning.

Best,
