I took your lead and went with these...

Came today and installed! My OCD had me painting the center caps "FORD" black...

I received the same black lug nuts today and swapped them in. Decided to remove the wheels and paint the calipers, too. Wife just shook her head! Not sure but maybe the "98" scribbled on the wheels from the factory was the torque, or a secret code! I used 100 ft lb.

X2 on that. That is much better than the stock STX one.
yep the stock xl one sucks. I changed mine to lariat due to not being able to find low enough mileage to match my truck, but really wanted the xlt one.

Cool Dude
Learned something new today. If you push the + button on the shifter you can see what gear you are in on the dash. It will change with each gear change. Push it again and it goes away.
I had no idea.
Upper left side of the center display. I was not moving so in 1st gear out of 10.

Read your manual--- That is a gear lock out feature, keep pushing the - button, and it sequencily lock out each higher gear, all the way down to 1st. Push +, and it unlocks each higher gear back up to 10. can use it for engine braking, keeping higher engine RPMs on the highway, etc. Chris.

I should have been more clear about holding the + button down vs just pushing it so I did an edit of the original post.
I know about shifting gears with the + - button. I was referring to the display. Yes it will display if you are shifting with the buttons. What I did not know was it will display the gear without you having to shift. If you hold the + button instead of pushing it quickly it will display the gear and not shift the gear. The transmission with shift like normal on its own but you can see what gear it’s in. That has never displayed on the truck unless I was shifting gears with the buttons either + or -.

When I had my 1999 Cherokee I did the same. Found an upgraded instrument cluster with close to the same milage. Was it a simple plug and play swap?

yes, it was very simple. I had to disable some things in forscan that my truck did not have to avoid trouble codes, but it plugs right in, I also have all the lariat features, which is nice.
