Got my new wheels and tires installed today at Discount Tire. Pics will have to wait until Monday (weather permitting)....I wouldn't want to post pics of my truck all dirty, since she's a pavement princess :p. Officially starting the wait for Bell Tech's lowering kit....

Hey Steve, have you got red stripe decals on your wheels?
Hi Bryan...yes...just 2 small pieces of 1/2” metallic red pinstrip.
It'll probably last a year on the wheels before I need to redo them. I did just ONE wheel on each side, so I can be sure the dealer rotates the tires. :giggle:

Found this ranger vinyl on eBay. it has the old school lettering and it beats the lame STX 4x4 decal that was there.

Marking the rims so you know the dealer rotates your junk has me cracking up but it does look good

that is majorly bad ass
Thanks... They look better in person... stepped out of the norm for tires too... Cooper ATS-3's 255-70-17... little taller than stock, tad bit narrower, but they should work fine for me.. and I love the way they look.

Discovered beach rats are no joke. On the way home from a week at the beach, I asked the wife to open the glove box and grab the microfiber rag so I could clean my glasses. Imagine our surprise when she did and there was a 8-10" rat sitting in the glove box. She screams, I look over and see this monster. It then climbs back into the dash before I could grab it's nasty ass. We then hear thumps, screeches, and all kinds of commotion from just above the glove box. Side note I noticed the airbag light came on as soon as we got in the truck. I am now thinking that the rat ate a wire that cause the light to come on and it has now returned to said wire and it getting electrocuted to death.
We get home and I begin the search for what I hope is a dead rat. Upon dropping the glove box out of the way, I hear faint noises like little baby screams. I remove the cabin air filter door and see rat parts. I cannot make them out until I grab one with some pliers. It's a baby rat. Long story short, I removed the air filter and 4 baby rats. Mom in no where to be found.
The truck was not left open so she climbed in thru the firewall or somewhere over night. The truck was driven daily so it's not like it sat all week.
I now have the air filter with baby rat blood and scent on the floor. I put one sticky trap and one baited neck breaker on the floor. I put the other sticky trap in the glove box with the box open. I am hoping she smells the babies and comes looking for them. I was not thinking and dumped them down the storm drain. I should have kept one and put it on the air filter.

Got a host of Fathers Day Goodies for the truck.
Center console organizer
Customer cut sun shade
Tool Roll
Gun storage
License plate frame (Black)

Nothing outrageous. Just little finishing touches.

Pics as promised. Wheels are Raceline 156B Surge 18"x8", +35mm offset and they sit almost dead even with the fender. Tires are Cooper Discoverer H/T 265/60/18 (stock size). The center caps are the stock ones, used as a starting point....I removed the aluminum logo, sanded them down, had some RANGER emblems 3D printed from a guy on Etsy, made some ABS glue, and bonded them to the cap, since it's ABS also.
