Thanks!!!
I can't wait to get one for my truck! How much of a PITA is that going to be to install without an engine hoist?mocked up the bumper, will probably finish the install today, but I need a second pair of hands, waiting for my father.
Much more respectable spot for the Ranger!Did a little to the Ranger and a little for the Ranger.
Finally got around to opening up my paint sprayer and painted the garage walls. Been procrastinating since buying the house a year ago. I was hoping the white paint would brighten things up a bit but it wasnt enough so I added some lighting. From 5800 lumens to 31,200 of LED glory.
Took Napoleon (yes I named my truck Napoleon because my wife said he has little truck syndrome) for his first oil change and rotated the tires. Afterwards, decided today was a perfect day to test the lighting by doing a deep clean, wax and polish.
One may say, today was a spa day.

The paint and lighting look really good. I did the same as my first retirement project. Also did the floor with race deck tiles. Now I am running out of wall space. No room for Marilyn.Did a little to the Ranger and a little for the Ranger.

Ive been considering those tiles but having a hard time biting the bullet on the cost. I can epoxy the floor for about 4-500 but I dont want to deal with emptying out the contents for a few days. The tiles are way more convenient but so pricey. I’d need about 650 squares. The paint and lighting look really good. I did the same as my first retirement project. My floor was in pretty bad shape after 25 years of abuse. Some pretty large cracks, lots of oil and paint stains. I don't think any amount of epoxy would have made it look good. I was also thinking it would be hard to make it stick with some places having soaked in oil. It has been 3 years and the tiles still look good. I think I used about 530 tiles. Race Deck brand is a little pricey but if you watch, they do run sales. And there are less expensive brands.Ive been considering those tiles but having a hard time biting the bullet on the cost. Looks good! I’d be interested to hear how you installed the side plates on the bottom part of the bumper near the tires. I had to bend mine. They stuck out too much and rubbed against the tires.mocked up the bumper, will probably finish the install today, but I need a second pair of hands, waiting for my father.
Looks great! LED's make a huge difference. I did my garage with them last year. My dad liked them so much, he tore down all his old florescents and replaced them too. Can never have to much garage lighting in my opinion.Did a little to the Ranger and a little for the Ranger.

I took your lead and went with these...Hi Folks,
Today I replaced all the two piece lug nuts on the Ranger and also on the the Lincoln MKX... The new ones are solid and not prone to the swelling phenomena of the OEM Ford lug nuts. Not one of Ford's finest ideas for sure. Ranger lugs are 12mm X 1.5 and the MKX are 14mm X 1.5. Ranger at 100 ft. lb. MKX at 162 ft lb (Yikes!).
best,
