Yep, keel weighs 600 pounds. My rigger recommended raising it at the dock after each sail, so it's a nice little workout at the end of the day.very nice! Is your keel weighted? That’s the biggest regret I have on mine. I’m in freshwater but the 1500lb keel pin failing would put her on the bottom quickly.
I should look into paying my marina for hauls and launches. They aren't very communicative though, and with my lifting keel I'm not sure that they would do things right.
But yeah I'm reaching the point in my life where I have money but less time than I used to, I'd rather go cycling or something, than haul the boat ;-).
