A friend got me looking at the 2025 Ranger Raptor and the itch wouldn't go away!

My local dealer is out of allotments but sent the order in anyway, a couple of days later Ford emailed me saying they got the order but it has to sit 45 days before they decide if they can give it a build date and if not how many more days will it sit... so I shopped around and Found a dealer down by the Ohio river who had an allotment left and had ordered a RR the same week and it was not spoken for, time left to change the color and it now has a build date of May 20th! By the time it arrives my payoff should be about $2300.00 on the 19.

Congrats. You must be excited, I know I would be. My local dealer had a 24 rr last summer but it just wasn't in the cards for me. I gotta say that while I wasn't very enthusiastic at first about the Gen 6 Rangers in general, I'm seeing more of them out in the wild and I'm getting...antsy let's just say. I still love my 22 though. A lot.

But still, congrats on your order, it's gonna be AMAZING.

Congratulations Mike! I'm sure you're excited and even though the build date is only 6 weeks away it's going to be a longggg wait. This is why I haven't went out of my way to look at one because I know one would've followed me home by now. lol But I'm happy with my Tremor and it does everything I need it to do but a RR sure would be nice.

-What color did you decide on?

-Are you keeping your '19? It is a rare color and still one of the best ones they made!

-And the most important question....When can we meet up so I can drive it? o_O:captain:?

Thanks Dave, ya we where all excited for no payments for a while and then.... I keep getting monthly letters from Ford/dealer saying how many payments i have left etc. Going with the Mystic Green Metallic and the beadlock ready wheels. Have to sell the 19 to use the $ as a down payment. I bought a 360' camera system last year, was waiting on warmer weather to install it, has an android monitor that you can put on the dash but I wasn't looking forward to taking the truck apart to do it. Then I saw the 360 view on my stepsons Escape I found for him and loved that feature, it's still in the box, gonna sell it and some other stuff.

Congratulations, great timing to have found a dealer with an allowance available! The fact that you were able to change the color and get a production date so quickly is great. I've also started to get interested in the Ranger Raptor and it's getting hard to resist. You're going to have a real jewel in your hands. Keep us posted when it arrives!

Just left the dealership 2 hours ago, no new news on my Raptor but they did a dealer trade with a Ford dealer in Greensburg, IN who had a dark Gray Metallic Bronco Sport with all of the bells and whistles on it for my wife, picking it up Wednesday. Employee price and trade in value on her Lincoln was a fair offer so we both slide into retirement with 2 low mile vehicles, one will be paid off in 60 months (Raptor) and hers after that. We got the Outerbanks package with more bells and whistles than her Lincoln MKX.

AWESOME, I am really interested on the feedback on the Bronco Outerbanks. I drove one as a loaner.
It's a bit bumpier than a Lincoln, even the Ranger but then again it's shorter and narrow. we opted for the 1.5L ecoboost for the economy. It does get peppy in sport mode! Has same radio as the Ranger raptor, the 360 pkg has 4 cameras, Sync 4, goat modes etc. 1 thing I'm not impressed with is no spare tire or jack!! Glad i caught that on a video review. I had them write it into the deal that I want a spare and jack. The tire repair and inflator is a nice touch but NOT a viable option if you have a blow out etc. I don't wanna be 2 hours away and get a call that Terri is stranded with no spare. I asked for a full size (height) skinny spare if they make one otherwise a donut. I'm a cop but I hate donut spares!

We like the brown and dark grey leather trimmed seats.

Nice. For me, I'm just glad the RR can't tow like a non-Raptor, so that prevents the itch from making sense for me. I plan to keep the 2021 Ranger until I get a Super Duty in the future, too bad in the US that is not likely to be a Ranger Super Duty.

I refuse to go look at the RR because I can't afford to trade up and... I know when I look at one, I won't be happy until I get it.

Link to the 360 kit?
