So there is a weight difference of about 26 lbs putting a full spare(285/70/17 "C") underneath compared to the stock spare.
Measurement from rear diff to the ground with stock spare is about 10 1/2". With the full size spare that drops only 1/4".?

Rear diff height or rear bumper height? Are you saying that the suspension is compressed 1/4" or the tires?

I haven't looked, does the spare hold in by a chain and bolts or just a chain? Is the full size magnetic painted spare going to get all scratched up from the chain?

I just bought a spare from a member here to put a nitto ridge grappler 285-70-17 on and throw it under the truck. Just curious about scratching the surface of the spare wheel.

Thanks for the weights. 26ish lbs plus my rock sliders at about 100lbs it'll be like adding another small person. Lol.

The spare tire holder I believe is chain(could be cable) and has the nice cup that the wheel sits on. Will it scratch the paint? Dont know but it is a possibility
