Hi. Has anyone had trouble installing WeatherTech window deflectors on their 2019 Ranger. The only issue I have is the front passenger window, hangs up. The driver side does not. They are both seated in the same groove and I followed the install instructions to a “T”.
Response from the company recommends installing with the window only down 1/2-1 inch unlike the written instructions say, and leave the windows closed for 48 hours (I guess I should have bought the add-on in the winter!).
Any suggestions?

Try to leave your windows up for a couple days. The added pressure from the window helps to form it and keep it in place. I had the same issue....but now all is perfect!

I had the same issue. I noticed that if I pushed the deflector a bit, the window went up OK; it was getting hung on the edge of the deflector. I noticed the passenger deflector edge wasn't as tapered as the driver's side where the window goes by. So, I used a file to taper it a teeny bit more. Poof, works every time now.
Just my experience, of course.

I had the same issue initially on mine, except on the drivers side, but I did leave the window up for about 3 days and it works fine now.
It was great, I got them right after I had window tinting applied to the front, so the windows were up for like a week straight.

Well obviously you have had that Ranger long enough and it’s time to upgrade....perhaps the Bronco??!!
That Bronco is cute, do they make door visors for it??
Nevermind, I think I will buy some other brand of visors for the Ranger instead. :giggle:

Bummer.

Are SCab and SCrew front windows different ?
Yes. Pretty sure the SuperCab door is a couple inches longer (front to back).
My SuperCab is 46.25" front to back at the crease just below the mirror.
Somebody measure at the same spot on a SuperCrew??

Door panel on the supercrew is shorter. Approx 41 5/8"

Just to finish and close the loop on this chat, just like ‘magic’ the windows go up and down without an issue. I’m also going to use that phrase in the defense of my dissertation:
Professor: How can you explain the increase in heart rate and VO2 consumption when a participant exercises on a downgrade slope?
Me: Good question Professor, it’s ‘magic’!

I think it will work!
