Is there a way one of the mods can undo the "auto-watch" feature....Just because I replied to a thread, doesn't mean I want to "watch" a particular thread. Thanks !!!

EDIT: Just like this one.....it automatically "watched" this thread......

yes, something changed in the software. turning it off seems to keep it from watching new threads, but you'll still have to unwatch stuff that it magically started watching before you turned it off.

Mine did the same but it’s been all good since changing the preferences mentioned above. Any thread you’ve unintentionally watched will show up with a little pair of glasses beside the thread title. Open that thread and in the top left click “unwatch”. After that it shouldn’t happen again!

Same thing happened to me, just all of a sudden I was "watching" every thread I commented in. Found the setting but still kind of strange.

It apparently was triggered by a forum software update. As stated earlier, the best way to disable it is to update your profile. I did that after I noticed it.

after a week of successful unwatching....it started again tonight.
Mine hasn’t started again, I just got a couple emails for threads that I missed ‘unwatching” before.
