Getting a High-Quality Warn Winch doesn't have to break your bank, and the Warn VR EVO 10-S is hear to prove it. Warn's VR EVO 10-S offers up an awesome look, compact design, and nearly unmatched reliability into a single 12V DC winch system that can handle practically any job or recovery task for your off-road vehicle of choice. This version of the Warn VR EVO Series winches is rated for a 10,000lb pull while drawing 358 amps, which makes it perfect for Jeeps, half-ton trucks, and other similar-sized vehicles. The winch comes with a standard 10x4.5" bolt pattern that allows it to mount up to most winch plates and aftermarket bumpers without any issues. The system uses a synthetic cable and hawse fairlead for a more reliable pull over competing brittle steel cables. Powerful Motor, Adaptable Controls, and Extremely Strong Case
Each VR EVO 10-S winch is built around a powerful motor and durable case that gives it awesome pulling power and unprecedented reliability. The winch utilizes a Warn series-wound 12V DC motor that combines with the winch's 3/8" synthetic rope to give the winch a total rated pulling power of 10,000lbs and pulling speed of 5.2' per minute. The VR EVO Series winch comes standard with a cast aluminum, one-piece tie plate that gives the entire winch assembly greater structural strength than tie bars. Each winch has a convertible control pack that allows for upright or low-profile mounting positions and uses a waterproof Albright® contactor to ensure excellent reliability. The winch also comes with a remote switch that uses two-in-one plug in remote for wired operation. If you desire, the remote also has wireless capability. Each winch comes standard with an aggressive black finish that gives it a great look. Warn backs each winch with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Looking forward to getting my winches installed on the truck. I have the Zeon on the Wrangler and went the VR10 route for the Ranger. Pretty pumped to get them installed.

Will this fit inside the 589 Fab Ranger hidden winch mount? Does the top “tower” remove or even need to be removed?

It is relocatable, away from the winch

I have the Warn Ascent bumper and the winch is mounted on it's back with the control unit still attached. The 4 mounting bolts can be seen through the face of the bumper into the bottom of the winch. Works great.
