Hello all , new here :D

Installed the Fox 2.0 State 1 kit the other day.

Not too terribly hard in your own garage. A lift and some AC would be nice tho 😂. Loving the kit so far !

About 5hrs or so , If I wasn’t filming and setting up cameras and lights (and taking breaks it was 100 degrees in the shop) I could do it in 3-4hrs now that I’ve done it.

on the rear shocks is that the way fox says to install them? I saw another video and they were installed the other way.

They are designed to be oriented in any direction, body up is recommended tho.

Great tutorial! makes me feel confident in doing it myself! will watch this when I get closer to getting ready to throw it on!

How does it compare to the FX4 suspension?

not even close, the Ford/Fox rides and handles so much better. I was on the fence about doing it but I am so glad I did!! Make sure you get it aligned as the extra lift really toes it in

thank you . And it’s so much better! Way better off road but not too harsh on pavement. Perfect for my needs

I was on the fence for so long about this, Now that I have it I can not imagine why Ford doesn't put this on all 4x4 Rangers.

Is it stiffer on road than factory? My wife hates the way trucks ride and wants something closer to her explorer, if possible with a pumpkin out back.

The ride is certainly less floaty. My wife used to get seasick with the stock shocks.

installed the same kit (ford's).

only things i did different were that i used a center punch to pop out the cv axle vs hitting it directly with a hammer.

i also left the rotor and caliper on. Didn't have any issues leaving them on.

i can also confirm per fox, the canister is up and piston is down. they make add on plastic covers to protect the piston if you want.
