The result looks good, I guess they just switch whenever you put your turn signal on?I installed that LED diode dynamics switchback turn signals. These give you an upgraded turn signal and DRL cool LED light.
I wanted a LED DRL but didn’t want to order lariat headlamps
Easy install and I like the look
Just tap the resistor to the positive & negative blinker wires. Headlight wiring PDF attachedDetails on wiring included?
Yeah, it just switches when you signal. I wish it was a plug and play resistorThe result looks good, I guess they just switch whenever you put your turn signal on?
Reallly hate that they supply Quick-splices (Vampire Taps). Its just not a proper way to do automotive wiring.
Thanks! It comes with instructions, you just tap the yellow and green wires to the red resistor cables
Yellow is turn
Green is ground
Hmm, that's disappointing. I'm thinking of getting LED turns (not the switchbacks), but it's disconcerting that the blinker sound is still sped up. Has that been annoying, or is it just the new normal now and you've gotten used to it?One note, the resistors fix the hyper blink but the blinker sound inside is sped up, might be a software fix.
Is there any FORSCAN options to fix this? I know on the current gen F-150, you can change a few parameters to stop hyper blinking without the need for resistors. One note, the resistors fix the hyper blink but the blinker sound inside is sped up, might be a software fix.
There is. I have a Lariat and switched all my lights out to LEDs. Used Forscan to get rid of the hyperblink, no resistor was needed. There's a thread here: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/forscan-crowdsourced-wiki.2008/Is there any FORSCAN options to fix this?
