I thought my truck guy said all covers leak to some extent unless you get a full one piece unit like you did. he said it always leaks at the tailgate on the sides. It does look good though.

The G2 & Extang 2.0 both leaked at panels due to their construction. It was my first time dealing with hard folding tonneau covers, I learned a lot!

Think I am going to go this route again. I had the Under Cover classic on my Dakota and it never leaked. The flips all seem the best sellers and I would love something I could take off solo, but rather keep everything dry.

Installed the Bakflip cover. Very happy with it. Definitely no leaks.

Third attempt at a no-leaking tonneau cover...G2 leaked, Extang 2.0 leaked, so far no leaks!

Textured...If I remember correctly smooth are the colored matched ones. It's for sale, but I'm in North Carolina until December. :frown:

I put the Undercover Elite in magnetic on my Ranger Sport in Iconic Silver. It ties the magnetic TVD Rangers tailgate inserts, bumpers, wheels, grill, and fender accents all together, It does not leak, but I have sealed my tailgate. Here as look at both my Rangers, a 2005 Edge 4x4 Supercab, and my 2020 XLT Sport 4x4 with locking diff.

how has the texured finished held up to the sun and elements? has it faded or looks weathered any? I'm still thinking about getting one of these but undecided from painted or textured. Also is it still leak free?

I had the textured unpainted on my frontier, its was at least 10 yrs old when I sold the truck. Looked fine. Does not discolored or gray like most black plastic OEM trim.

Had one on a Dakota for over 16 years. Mostly in garage, but in FL sun for 4 years. Was holding up pretty good. Never leaked, and struts were still working when I sold it. They are good lids. Textured will stand up to more abuse in my opinion. Hit it with truck bed liner at some point if it ever fades.
