Installed the budget option today, $300 for a set of Rough Country UCA's paired with my 3" Eibach lift. RC says these only work with a 3.5", but a lot of tacoma people have had luck with RC UCA's (Also 3.5 "only") on their trucks, even with 2" leveling kits. An after market UCA just adds caster, and adjustable UCA's let you adjust said caster. I can't believe RC made a UCA so specific and precise it ONLY works with 3.5" of lift. Alignment is tomorrow, I will let you know. I am asking alignment guy for 0 Toe, 0 Camber, .5degree more caster on left (positive). We will see if the $300 is worth it! It does feel smooth and so, so much better than factory UCA's.

athere.as a suggestion I say goe for a little toe in. Why? Because if you set it for 0 toe and you get in the truck then Toe will go out and cause a steering wheel shake at high speed. This happened to me after I did the alignment after installing the Old Man EMU Lift. Also it may be in your best intrest to go for factory alignment specs. The who reason for the upper control arms is to help get the truck back into specifications. You can already adjust caster. Its just hard to do so after lifting the front so much(and not touching the rear at all).

That is a good idea, I will ask the tech what the factory specs are and we will go from there. Back has an add-a-leaf for approx 1.5 inches of lift over factory, with Icon bump stops and (will have- on order) 18 inch travel shocks :D

Alignment was spot on. I was right about the RC UCA's. Even though they say they "only" work with 3.5" of lift, they work with less, My Caster is low enough I bet you could use these on 2.5" lifts or even just 2" leveling kits.

In general good, my suggestion is to bring toe in just a little more(closer to 0.04/0.05). That is where I found it optimal.

Below is what I had my truck set at with factory control arms and the Old Man EMU Lift

Of course! Everyone does so you’re not all over the road! I’m happy with 3 degrees positive. Feels good!

Was there a noticeable difference in ride quality?
Some claim better ride quality, but most of it is going to be between the shocks, springs and tires.
