Well, my Ranger is on order and my first "major" purchase for the truck will be a bed cover / tonneau.

I have searched around the forums and seen both of these products mentioned... but does anyone have any "head to head" thoughts?

It seems, for the most part, the reviews on each are generally positive.

For now, I am trying to decide between the:

TruXedo Sentury CT (Part # 1531016), retails around $1,089.00 ...

or the

BAK Revolver X4s (Part #80332), retails around $1,139.88 ...

Thanks for any help!

If I am not mistaken, the weather seal on truxedo is velcro and the x4s is rubber. Will that make any difference in terms of water tightness? IDK.

Second, the Sentry CT has a center latch in addition to the rear most latch. In my opinion, the X4S is a much secure bed cover since the latch mechanism runs the entire length of the bed.

I don’t have any experience with the Sentry CT and purchased the X4S because of the above mentioned feature..

I was debating these two as well... THEN I remembered I had the Rugged Ridge Armis Cover (Truxedo Sentury CT) on my Jeep Gladiator and Loved it! I will;l be ordering it for my Ranger when it comes in 100%. The Velcrow on the sides was awesome and it looked great and functioned well!
you can check it out on my Gladiator here:

Some good info / discussion!

I won't be getting mine till my truck comes (2-3 months), so I appreciate the insight thus far.
