I do not really have a need for a larger truck like a F150, but the towing needs I would need, is I have a fairly fast 2019 S550 Mustang GT, that I'd like to start towing to drag strips.

I see the Ranger when equipped right can haul 7500 lbs. S550 Mustang is probably around 3900'ish, plus the trailer.

Does anyone here tow a car this size without much issue? I don't want this to be a struggle.

None whatsoever. My camper weighs 4500#, and has a huge front wind area and it tows it perfectly.

Seen a couple people on here towing tractors and whatnot, the truck will tow perfectly up to the limit if needed.

Thats good to know that it can probably haul 6000 lbs without any issue.

You'll need to add a brake controller which is pretty easy. I'll be towing about 6600# next weekend, but I don't anticipate any issues whatsoever.

I've towed a 3rd gen 4Runner and an XJ Cherokee with the Ranger without issue, just need to watch your braking. Assuming you follow all safety precautions and remain focused/alert while towing, you'll be fine.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to tow your new Mustang to the drag strip? Have you already fully built it to race spec so it's not street-able anymore? If it's stock or even lightly modded, driving your new Mustang to the drag strip will be without a doubt more comfortable than towing it imo.

It's at about 900 at the rear tires (Vortech JT, with about 14-15psi on E85), 3500-3800 stall, e85 etc. It's very steetable and easy to drive. It's more of the, I'd like to be able to go to tracks and attend events further away, E85 is not always available along the way.

Even though the drivetrain is built up, there's always that what if moment. Something can break, I do not want to be stranded 300-500 miles from home.

I also am looking at getting a turbo Can Am Maverick :D This obviously would need towed to trails etc.

So when you brake it, your not stuck at the drag strip.

No yeah I get it, it's just OP's 900 HP E85 Mustang is not what I envisioned in my head when I read "2019 Mustang Premium".

No worries, I tow the one in my avatar for this same reason. It's perfectly street legal, but it's just less stressful to not have worry about the "what if's"

I have not towed with Ranger yet, and towing that monster, is going to make max me out.

I regularly tow this 2000kms in a weekend to go racing. Just under 5000lbs when loaded. Zero issues, just lock it out of 8-10 gear, and the engine is barely working.
